Oak Aged Heritage Series 7%, 750ml Bottle

New Ross started producing apple barrels in the mid-1800’s. Daniel O'Neil modified a typical fish barrel to be lighter and better suited to apples. This was a hit with apple growers and spawned an industry where New Ross once had over 120 cooper shops producing barrels. This oak-aged cuvée spéciale cider is a celebration of the rich history of the area and its importance to the Nova Scotia apple industry. Our signature apple variety blend was aged for twenty three months in oak barrels, resulting in a smooth earthy cider expressing warm notes of pear, vanilla and cloves. Serve chilled.
